Murals and More

Environmental graphics for a “Welcome Back to Campus” campaign during the Covid pandemic for students across seven campuses.

“You've outdone yourself! These are great! I definitely see how we can use this concept for indoor and outdoor needs.” Kenya Ayers-Palmore, Ed.D., Tarrant County College Northeast Campus President

Having the hard task of encouraging students to come back to campus during a pandemic, TCC leadership wanted students to know that they are a priority, that they belong, and they have a strong support system waiting for them. Our design strategy was to be very expressive by incorporating lively and striking elements to draw attention from afar. We recommended veering a bit from TCC branding to incorporate handwritten typography for a warmer, more approachable voice. We designed two murals that incorporated real students in two unique design styles: one was designed to be energetic and the other was designed to be fun, but "safe".

We just love how these turned out! This campaign was so successful that TCC asked for us to turn our design into digital signs, banners, email headers and even t-shirts in both English and Spanish!
